Blog #1: Food

Let’s dive into the world of food in this blog, where we’ll explore it as the energy source gifted to us by the sun. Imagine this energy flowing through us, sustaining not just humans but all creatures on this beautiful Earth, part of a vast galaxy.

It all boils down to energy. We get it from food, the sun, and various sources, passing it on like a cosmic relay. When we pass away, we become energy for others—fungus, ashes nurturing the soil for plants to grow.

Now, why do we have hunger issues on our abundant Earth? It’s an ethical puzzle. With more than enough food for 8 billion people, why do 8 million go hungry? Let’s question this and find a way to ensure everyone has plenty.

Hunger, viewed from a different angle, isn’t always a bad thing. It fueled our explorations, shaped the resilience of post-WWII Japan, and built a nation swiftly. It’s all about energy or its absence. It’s about love or the lack thereof—simple, yet profound.

We, with our unique minds, are both blessed and cursed. Can we channel our minds to create an efficient energy flow and contribute to a more beautiful, loving Earth? Our minds are powerful, a blessing, our greatest gifts.

In the yin and yang of life, there’s no good or bad—just different perspectives. Our world is already stunningly beautiful and loving. The challenge is to let go of labels, embrace balance, and let energy flow freely.
